U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Safety Update

A recent safety update from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission highlights a critical concern involving some residential elevators. On certain models, the space between the elevator door and gate may be large enough to pose a serious risk—potentially allowing a small child to become trapped, leading to injury or even death.

Solution: Savaria/Concord is offering a free door gap filler to  eliminate this hazard. The spacer reduces the space between the door and the gate and can be requested at no charge.
